"As a standard measure it was decided to replace the windscreen," the airline said.
"We are very committed now to the Indian market. It's very promising. India's GDP is about 7%, which is excellent compared to any other country's growth. Analysts believe it will be 6%-7% for the next 4-5 years," Ibrahim Al-Omar told.
Under the offer a Chennai-Singapore flight can be booked for Rs 5,099, a Bengaluru-Kuala Lumpur flight is available for as low as Rs 8,699 and a Jaipur-Melbourne flight comes for Rs 13,499.
"A major trend observed is that Indian travelers have now become increasingly younger with 17% being in 18-24 year age group compared to 12% last year."
The airline, along with its peers, has been offering such discounts in the ongoing lean travel season.
The offer is however valid for booking and travel on or before March 31 which may in this lean travel season, limit its success.

In terms of tourism receipts or income in January-September, India came second registering a growth of 37%, following China which grew by 41%. Indonesia came third with a growth rate of 14%.
