Narendra Singh Tomar-led rural development ministry has notified ministry of defence the power to acquire 0.58 acres of land at Zero Point (Bumteng and Ungkhar village) in district Tawang in Arunachal Pradesh for strengthening defence operations.
The government has been publishing the data on employment created in the formal sector using information on the number of subscribers who have subscribed under three major schemes, namely the Employees’ Provident Fund (EPF) Scheme, the Employees’ State Insurance (ESI) Scheme and the National Pension Scheme (NPS).

“The committee have decided to invite memorandam containing views and suggestions separately on each code from the public in general and NGOs/ experts/ stakeholders and institutions in particular,” labour ministry said in a statement. The bills have been referred to the standing committee for examination and report within three months.
