“Employment generation coupled with improving employability is the priority of the government,” Gangwar said.
The draft notification comes following a decision of the ESIC board in February this year in this regard.
The committee was set up to identify ways of advancing beekeeping in India that can help in improving agricultural productivity, enhancing employment generation.
The health index is a composite measure of states and union territories based on 23 health indicators with major weightage given to mortality rate, total fertility rate and sex ratio, among other parameters.
