Lawmakers in J&K assembly forced an adjournment of the house demanding abandoning the system of Laal Bati culture completely.
The government in J&K has not been unable to utilize the money that its lawmakers have been releasing for specific works.
The expenditure excludes the leave salary and the Rs 1600 crore special package for rehabilitation that the government is keen to make attractive for their return.

Having spent nearly Rs 36,289 crore for the current fiscal, J&K would require Rs 43543 crores for 2014-15 and 65 percent of it will come from the central government.
