Though behind bars, both Mahipal Maderna and Malkhan Vishnoi are trying to get a hold over their traditional seats through the next generation.

There is no Muslim face in the first list. In 2013, BJP had fielded 4 Muslim candidates out of which two had won the elections.
The first list would have the names of around 120 candidates, including sitting MLAs and senior leaders, and the last date of filing nominations would be November 19 for the December 7 polls.
