    The Sonet comes with three engine options - a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol unit, a 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine, and a 1.5-litre diesel - and two gearbox options - a five speed or six speed option, further split into automatic and manual.

    Within the sub-compact SUV segment, the Sonet gets novel features like a BOSE sound system and ventilated front seats. Following in the Seltos’ footsteps, the Sonet also features an air filter and smart connectivity.

    India will be the first country to get the Kia SUV, priced between Rs 8 lakh and Rs 13 lakh. The model would be manufactured at company's Anantapur-based (Andhra Pradesh) facility and would also be exported to other markets.
