    Cheered by festive sales, fashion retailers start calling suppliers

    Pandemic-induced lockdowns slowed businesses for months to less than 30 per cent of pre-pandemic levels.

    A spurts in sales September onwards has energised fashion retailers and an expectation of a near- full recovery of their business to pre-pandemic levels by March-April is driving them now to rush their orders for the spring-summer collections.
