Ambassador of Singapore Invited at Uttarakhand Investor summit Informed that his Country is Keen to Participate in India Smart City Project, they Can Contribute in Tourism Promotion. Developers in Singapore are given incentives by local authorities for their well-designed buildings. India does not have that Regulation. There is no encouragement for developers to build a better looking and greener building. Most local authorities don’t Incentivize Water harvesting, Water Purification, Waste treatment in Housing Complexes or use of Green Building Materials. The design of a building is extremely important to a place and Planners & public should begin to recognise the importance of architectural design. Land is a Precious resource. We cannot afford to leave vast tracks of land to degrade. We should leave more open spaces for Air to Flow. We have to learn Good Practices from Countries like Singapore how they Value their Cities and Habitats, how they value design & Architecture. We make walking Paths, we Green sideways of the Roads, we spend money on Processing Malba . That is why their Cities don’t have dust.
State Govt should enforce Stricter legislations with regard to natural forest conservation, water and soil conservation, restoring grazing land to grassland ecosystem. conservation projects, including wildlife protection and nature reserve development, the construction of key shelter forests and wetland conservation and restoration of Ecologically sensitive regions. Govt also needs to clarify what it Considers as “Organic. What are Organic Practices? “State Govt horticulture departments should engage in organizing more Education Programs. They will have to Set up more Biotechnology labs, . Organic tea, Herbs, Medical Plants, Rose Gardens can be set up in Cities also to improve air Quality. Plants in homes & housing Complexes increase oxygen levels. Indoor Cultivation Practices can benefit many.
Farmers likely to earn 20% higher MSP on organic crop: Prime Minster had said Uttarakhand will be an Organic State and he emphasized Organic farming at Uttarakhand during Investor Summit. All precautions must be taken to make sure we do not degrade Soil and earth of Regions which have abundance of nature. Cancer is on Rise and so are other Illnesses caused by Excessive use of Chemicals and Pesticides. Higher MSP of Organic Produce will motivate growers to adopt Pesticide free Cultivation. States like Uttarakhand will have to first Protect their rivers, Forests & Soil so that more visitors see a reason to Visit State . Some Regions must be barred Industrial activity.

Fssai licence can be applied online and u can get a certificate even without inspection of the premises so how do u say food is totally hygienic

First of all fix the quality issues in all restaurants by conducting ''health & hygiene raids'' every fortnight.Next comes this eye-wash initiative!
How it comes to only 144 ? Even in Chennai itself more than thousands roadside vendors offering panipuri ,bhelpuri Briyani etc etc....If you drink local cool drink you will get infected cold surely .First FSSAI should look into these then can see other
1st take my complain action against mcdonalds in mira road, then start roadside stalls, company foods to handle hoti nai hai, ab small vendors ko target kar rhe hai
stop propagating a magic wand to simple customers.Nothing will move out of paper until entire population''s hygiene improves.And that shall require humongous efforts.Even basic amenities are not available to more than 50% people
This is a very good initiative and will make the branded food chains to run for their business and compete with the street smart vendors. Only thing is that it would be better if the coveted food vendors are located in licensed hawking area.

instead of the FSSAI taking up the responsibility country wide which is near impossible to manage, let the state n local bodies follow FSSAI guidelines n make sure they are able to attract tourism as that is one of the biggest industries which can generate huge employment potential
The Feku regime is still living in a fool''s paradise. If the fuels prices comes down, the street vendors will not need to compromise on food quality and safety to reduce costs. I love street food, and Feku must stop destroying it.

If FSSAI is so confident of this publicity game - please disclose all laboratrory data on weekly basis. How many collected, how many samples found adultrated and what actions taken aginst the adultrated samples. Why FSSAI is not keen on transparancy? Why they do not tell consumers how many foods were found adultrated and of which brand. If FSSAI management is honest and committed for the cause of food safety, be transparant as well. Still long queue in hospilats is clear evidence food quality is bad in India and FSSAI failed in its primary duties.
The FSSAI has to visit the Vegetable markets in the country, and drink sugar cane juce with added ice, and Ice factories how good water they are using and how much they are infected
