NEW DELHI: German sportswear goods maker Puma has launched its biggest store in India at Delhi’s South Extension, spread across 4,800 sq ft over three floors.

The opening of the outlet marks the launch of Puma’s ‘Forever Fast’ store concept, housing the widest range of the company’s latest performance and sportstyle products including a variety of exclusive items.

Puma has about 20 Forever Fast stores across the world in cities such as Berlin, Seoul, Istanbul and Shanghai.

“The new store is different in every aspect from the regular Puma store,” said Abhishek Ganguly, managing director, Puma India.

For this store the company has designed a special range of products in collaboration with international designers such as Alexander McQueen and Chris Stamp, Ganguly said. “This is a premium store and the prices will be higher than at the regular stores,” he said.

The company will look to open at least two more Forever Fast stores, in Mumbai and Bengaluru, he said, without divulging the time frame.

Puma believes that Forever Fast stores could be its biggest revenue churner in days to come, leaving behind its most successful stores.
