    Malls have come a long way in barely years after squabbling with fashion brands over maintaining parity of products and prices in physical stores and on ecommerce sites.

    New Delhi: Many prominent malls in India are expected to take a new role this year — facilitators of omni-channel retailing. The Prestige Group is creating “fulfilment centres” of 10,000 sq ft each with passages for delivery bikes in the basements of eight of its upcoming malls in Bengaluru, Chennai and Mumbai among other cities to help restaurants and brands sort, pack and dispatch online orders from there.
