Typical Indian whining beggars. Why should Jio have to subsidize other telcos who failed to use new technology? 6 paise per minute? This is what people are crying about? Indians deserve poverty, it''s what they secretly want.

It was killing competition and now in suicide mode!

1. I liked the informative write up. I have 5 numbers of Vodafone of their 2 circles since long for me and my family members. As the services of Vodafone were earlier really good, I advised many of my friends and relatives to switch over to Vodafone, so my friends & extended family members are also the services of Vodafone.
2. Now I have noticed that since few months, Vodafone adopted unethical practices & deduct unreasonable amount from the pre-paid balance of the customers.
3. Earlier customers could track their own call/SMS/data details (usage with time & deductions thereat) through their website ‘; but since end of August 2019, they have discontinued that so that customers can not check unethical deductions. When I found that they have exorbitantly deducted an amount upto Rs 50/- suddenly, then I took up the matter & they reversed that amount without explaining any reason for the deduction. On 2 instances, they informed me that they deducted for downloading data/games but when I informed that my that particular number is being used in a basic mobile handset (and not in smart phone), they have not made any reply.
4. I felt Vodafone should not cheat people & they should continue allowing its customers to track their own usage through the website in a transparent manner by bringing back the website.
5. I understand that Vodafone is running in losses & that may be the reason for doing the same. But it’s not a good practice & should be condemned.

Extra data...boss only a thirsty guy would know the value of a drop of’s no value to the subscriber when it’s already in plenty. Stick to traditional players, motabhai has to recover back his surplus black money one way or the other. His plan was to monopolize the market that hit almost the home run with 64% subscriber...

does anyone know the porting method? I''m done with Jio. plans on Airtel app are also good with Rs 50 discount.

if somebody feels that Jio is cheating they should switch over to Voda or airtel

The net purposely slowed down BEFORE A WEEK of expiry period and force subscriber to fill before expiry and thus generate huge in advance. Little brother direct looter of public money and elder one is indirect looter of public money. Both gujju crooked.

surprised Mukesh will cheat people in such a way

Imran Ahmed (India) replies to Sarvemitar Gupta

Afterall, he is Modi''s fan

What a example set for future business by Gujarati leader. You can disagree with hum but now you cannot just throw away your sims.

chearting subscribers . absolute colusion perhaps others and cooperation trai. first trai''s intervention has killed subscribers viewing tv and benefitting tv companies and now telecom with jio leading. anil gone Mukesh will go as people will shift and airtel already looted with congress collusion and now mukesh will but unfortunately illiteracy being the culprit

This is nothing, gujjus choris haven’t even revealed yet, show has just started. If his plans were to be checked trai should have intervened long ago. Moreover who else is responsible for bsnl and mtnl demise ? It’s red carpet for the mota bhai...look who buys their equipment with this public money he is collecting now to pay for... classic scam

Most users will prefer to use JIO only for free calls and use other SOM''s like Idea/ Airtel for debarred calls rather than use the "Voucher" !

Modi pet will do whatever he liked to cut the pocket of customer with the help of Chiwala

Will the Jio subscriber unite to oppose such changes just after developing a huge base. The consumer should think of migrating to other service provider in masses to oppose such manipulative Jio tactics .Need of hour is to come together for opposing all such actions by companies including banks.

cheating cheating cheating?.......... nothing else

This is breaking promise of lifelong free call and this is nothing but cheating.

This may save telecom wars and also all would benefit in the long run. Jio networked subscribers still enjoys Jio-to-Jio free. Anyways IUC will be abolished by Jan 2020.

check the past record of this company. It''s a pattern of unkept promises to lure customers. Successful in all respects.

This would not last longer eventually it will go

It''s only 6 paise per minute, Rs. 3.6 per hour, which I believe is reasonable, also for every Rs 10 IUC recharge they are giving 1 GB Data extra. So I don''t think anyone is getting cheated.

charu (Delhi) replies to sanatan das

If it is so less, why cannot Jio pay it themselves ?

Kavi Tanna (Toronto) replies to Harsh Shah

How? It is the people who are now cheating telcos. You are whining about 6 paise?
