Flying out of Delhi? Now, ask 'genie' to deliver food at IGI T3 boarding
Good news for passengers flying out from IGI's T3!
A unique 'Food Genie' service has been launched, which allows them to order through interactive self-ordering kiosks and get food of their choice near their boarding gates.
Don't remain hungry
How does it work?
How is the food delivered?
When a passenger places the order at any of these kiosks that are placed near the boarding area, he/she is informed about the nearest pick-up point to their boarding gate, so that it becomes convenient for them to collect the food that they have ordered.
Where can the passengers enjoy food?
Food Genie service would be beneficial for passengers, who have reached the departure piers and want to have food of their choice without even going to the food court. Many passengers tend to proceed straight to the departure gates and skip eating a meal at the food outlets. The facility would help such passengers satiate their hunger pangs without the fear of missing their flight.
The service will also save them from the hassles of visiting various outlets and making payments separately. Using the same kiosk, food can be ordered from multiple outlets.
Once an order is placed, passenger is updated about the various stages of food delivery through SMS, like order confirmation, food getting ready and delivery at the pick-up points.
This service will soon be extended to other terminals as well.
