The current attrition situation across industries in the country is rather strangely poised. While some sectors such as IT continue to witness retrenchment, for a host of others — ranging from life sciences, pharmaceuticals and healthcare to financial services and retail — the voluntary attrition rate in the previous financial year has been 14.8% to 18.5%, according to a report
