SG Analytics to increase manpower by 20% this fiscal

BENGALURU: Research and analytics company SG Analytics has announced aggressive hiring plans amidst the Covid-19 pandemic. The company will be looking to increase its manpower by over 20 percent, said a statement issued today.

During the lockdown alone, the company has onboarded over 100 professionals, across sectors like technology, pharma life sciences, ESG, etc. through its virtual onboarding process. The company has a workforce of over 700 employees and plans to increase it to over 800 by the end of this fiscal.

In order to help its workforce upskill, and keep the motivation and engagement levels high, the company has initiated organisation-wide self-development and training programmes. These comprise technical, behavioural and functional trainings delivered online.

“The pandemic has affected us all and we have done everything we can to ensure the safety of all our employees who have been working from home since March. In these times of high anxiety and uncertainty, we strive to remain constantly connected through remote collaboration tools to carry on business operations, as well as to keep the engagement levels up,” said Sushant Gupta, founder and CEO, SG Analytics.

The firm is looking at a staggered return of the workforce to the office and will institute measures like regular fumigation and sanitisation of premises, mounting of touchless sanitisers at key locations, social distancing and compulsory wearing of masks in order to ensure the safety of its employees.

The company is headquartered in Pune, and has offices in New York, Seattle, Austin, London, Zurich and Hyderabad.
