Amit Chaudhary's fanboy moment: When the Lenskart boss met Ratan Tata

Chaudhary revealed that Tata is a big inspiration to him.

In his nearly three decades at the helm of Tata Sons, Ratan Tata has weathered many a storm and mentored several entrepreneurs. Among them is Amit Chaudhary, co-founder of Lenskart.

Chaudhary has made no secret of the influence Tata has had on his career, and recently, he had a chance to meet his mentor face to face. Talking of the experience, he penned a post on LinkedIn. “I was telling the legend Ratan Tata how big an inspiration he is to me. One of the best days of my life, when I met my idol.”

Elaborating further, Chaudhary said, “I read a book on business maharajas in the first year of my college. One of the chapters there was on Ratan Tata. That changed my life; even my thinking was different post reading that chapter.”
