    Free, for Android

If you have a new Android phone, chances are that it has a notch. This app offers a clever way to put your notch to use, no matter the size and shape of it. Essentially, it turns your notch into a discreet battery indicator. It adds a green line on the outside of your notch that reduces in size as your battery runs out. Once you install it, you need to enable permissions for storage access (it stores the shape/size of the notch) and to draw over other apps (essential for it to be visible at all times).

If the app is not able to auto-detect the type of notch you have, you can manually select shape, resize and move the indicator it to the correct location. Don’t worry - you’ll only have to do this once. All basic functionality is free but there are certain features only available in the pro version such as changing the colour of the indicator and hiding it in certain apps. You can unlock all Pro features with an in-app purchase of Rs 490.

Frankly, we found it quite useful - something that all phones with a notch should include by default instead of the usual battery indicator that takes up so much space.
