The pandemic has made most of us homebodies. But with borders opening and restrictions easing, we’re now starting to dream of our next holiday. For Parag Raja, Chief Executive Officer, Bharti AXA Life Insurance it’s no different. And he already has a few destinations in mind.

“I am a huge travel enthusiast and once the situation eases down, I look forward to discovering new cities. My favourites include London, New York, San Francisco and Dubai.”

For Raja, it’s the medieval architecture and stark modern structures of London that he loves, while Central Park in New York charms him because of its intriguing landscapes and amusement attractions. “My idea of travelling to the different cities across the globe is to roam around, explore and discover cultures and enhance my learning and comprehension about them,” he shares.

Generally, Raja plans two vacations in a year: one with the entire family and the other one with his son as a ‘boys’ trip for two-three days. “Undoubtedly, Covid-19 has given us a great family time at home. Though I am very close to my daughter, I developed a father-son float trip four years back to spend quality time beyond considering our busy schedules and understand the world through his eyes and mind,” shares Raja.

Their last boys’ vacation was in Goa and Bengaluru. “Once the restrictions are lifted, we plan to explore the interiors of South India. Even my son is growing up to be a big travel buff as well. I am extremely happy to share this hobby since it further strengthens our bond and understanding,” he adds.
