I am flabbergasted by the Indian government's reaction to the Bachchan's being diagnosed positive. Firstly why were they hospitalised if they are displaying mild symptoms and why were their numerous homes desanitised by officials??? All at the Indian taxpayers expense??? This idolisation of Bollywood stars is a blight on your society. And what an incredible country you have. My thoughts are with all Indians fighting this devastating virus.

India is one of those pseudo democratic countries in the world where democracy in its truest sense is of the rich and for the rich. It's a shame that the home minister of the state is running a update on the health of the celebrities. His government was not as active and prompt when thousands of commoners died of covid infection in Maharashtra
