At a recent event to unveil the maiden issue of a Club Mahindra travel e-zine for kids, the company's chairman, Arun Nanda, revealed his own mantras to battle stress.

"I simply turn on Cartoon Network. Either that, or soak in a hot water tub and read Archie comics." Nanda also exhales in the company of his "three steady girlfriends" — his three granddaughters, one aged nine and seven-year-old twins.

Nanda says a good sense of humour comes in handy, even though corporate bosses are often accused of not having one. "Laugh at yourself," he advises, "I tell the maximum jokes on bald heads." Now that's what we call a mane man.
