Coronavirus pandemic: Bollywood stars show gratitude to essential service providers

Bollywood actors came out in solidarity with essential service providers amid COVID-19 shadowing the nation. Director Karan Johar along with his mother Hiroo Johar, was seen clapping and beating utensils for the people in essential services. Actor Varun Dhawan with his family also thanked people who are fighting the dreadful virus. Akshay Kumar along with his neighbor Hrithik Roshan came together to express gratitude. Prime Minister Narendra Modi urged countrymen to observe ‘Janta Curfew’ on March 22 from 7 AM-9 PM. He also requested citizens to encourage the people working in essential services, in this time of adversity.
