‘Singham’ actor Ajay Devgn has broken his silence on the reports claiming that actor-wife Kajol and their daughter Nysa have been tested positive for the novel coronavirus. On March 28, a report published on a news website claimed that Kajol and Nysa had been tested positive for Covid-19.

However, the 50-year-old actor took to social media to dismiss the reports. Devgn began the tweet by thanking his fans for their concern. He then called the rumour around Kajol and Nysa’s health ‘unfounded, untrue and baseless’.

On March 20, Nysa had returned to India from Singapore after her school shut due to coronavirus outbreak. The report in question had claimed that Nysa was down with fever and had been rushed to the hospital by Kajol.

With Devgn clarifying the status of their health, it seems like both Kajol and Nysa are healthy and hearty at home.
