Our smart digital assistants can do it all - which now also includes the ability to find your misplaced wallet! Ekster was born from crowdfunding - it was the first trackable wallet to make it past crowdfunding and they now have v3 on offer. If you misplace your Ekster wallet, you can have Alexa, Siri or Google track it on a map or make it ring.
It’s a super-compact design, about a third the size of the typical bi-fold wallet. At the core is an aluminium RFID blocking card holder which can hold 4 to 6 cards (depending on their thickness and whether they are embossed on not). Push the trigger and the cards get ejected in a staggered manner so that you can pull out the one you need. The aluminium core is surrounded by soft leather (with multiple pockets) in a choice of colours. The wallet itself can hold up to 9 cards in total and a few notes.

The included solar powered tracker is where things get really interesting. This tracker is about the size of a credit card and about as thick as a stack of three cards. The tech is powered by Chipolo - you need to get the Chipolo app to add the tracker for the first time. Charge it by placing the tracker in light for about three hours and you’ll get a month of use. If you’re within 100 feet of the tracker, you can locate it using your phone. The tracker also offers worldwide traceability. What this means is that you can view a ‘last seen’ location in the app, you can have the tracker ring or mark it as lost.
If marked as lost, it can be traced back to you (as long as the finder scans the QR code on the tracker). As a bonus, you can also find your phone using the tracker. Just tap the button on the tracker twice and your phone will ring, even if it’s in silent mode.
