Fire breaks out on set of Varun Dhawan, Sara Ali Khan's 'Coolie No 1'

The cause of the fire is not yet known.

The film will hit the theatres on May 1, 2020.
A fire broke out on the sets of Varun Dhawan and Sara Ali Khan-starrer 'Coolie No 1' on Wednesday.

The set is located at Filmistan studio in Mumbai's Goregaon area. The mishap occurred around midnight, and fire fighters rushed to the spot, as per a video shared by Mumbai Mirror.

There were reportedly 15 workers on the set at the time of fire, however there were no reports of any casualty. The cause of the fire is not yet known.

The film, a remake of Govinda and Karisma Kapoor's 1995 hit, is being directed by David Dhawan, and produced by Vashu Bhagnani, Jackky Bhagnani and Deepshikha Deshmukh.

Touted as Dhawan's 45th film, it will hit the theatres on May 1, 2020.
