    Google I/O 2020 dates are out: Annual event to kick off on May 12

    Google, on Friday, announced the date of its I/O developer conference held annually at the Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View.

    Alphabet and Google CEO Sundar Pichai took to Twitter to share the news of the event which is expected to form the base for the rumoured Pixel 4a launch.

    "Cosmos aligned. We will be back at Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View for this year's #GoogleIO on May 12-14," Pichai tweeted.

    Earlier, the Google Developers Twitter handle had posted a teaser for the event.


    Last year, the search engine giant announced the Pixel 3a, Pixel 3a XL and Nest Hub Max at the event that according to Google 'brings developers from around the world together for talks, hands-on learning with Google experts, and a first look at Google’s latest developer products'.
