Hitesh Dhingra, founder of The Man Company, on how a pocket square elevates your suit game:

My first one
The first time I wore a suit was for my first job interview during my MBA days. It made me feel like I was ready to take on the next chapter of my life. I didn’t get a readymade suit for the occasion, I got one stitched.

Top count
I don’t have too many suits at the moment as I am more of a jeans and blazer kind of person. So, I have around eight-nine blazers and a few suits that I wear for formal occasions. My favourite suit is a Canali suit in steel grey. I love it because of its fit and comfort.

Brand speak
Brands that I enjoy wearing include Hugo Boss, Canali and Ralph Lauren. I would love to have more Canali suits in my wardrobe.

Accessorise it
When I wear a suit, I make sure to pair it with formal tan shoes and a pocket square. It adds a pop of colour and that’s all you need to elevate your look.

Shoe off
I find the trend of wearing sneakers with a suit odd. Personally, I would not feel comfortable wearing a suit with casual footwear. It’s definitely a no for me.

Suit style
When it comes to who looks good in a suit, it would have to be George Clooney. Anil Kapoor knows how to dress up a suit well.
