Here's a party trick: fitting a high-resolution, 300-inch screen into the palm of your hand. This tiny projector weighs just 890 grams but packs in a bright LED light source and uses Texas Instruments' DLP technology. It's clad in aluminium, powered by Android and has all the ports and wireless connectivity you need for a quick business presentation, photo slide show or movie. It has two USB ports, a micro SD slot, HDMI input, VGA/AV, 3.5mm head-phone out and built-in WiFi for wireless dis play (DLNA, Miracast, AirPlay).

The custom Android interface has large tiles for easy navi gation and an infrared remote is supplied. You can even install your own apps for streaming (Amazon Prime, Netflix) or even use YouTube. We found that using a standard wireless key board-mouse with USB dongle is possible and a lot easier for navigation.

Technically, you can create a 300-inch screen, provided you have a dark enough room and enough distance between the pro jector and screen. About 100 inches strikes the perfect balance between size, screen brightness and clarity in our opinion. Under neath, it has a standard tripod-mounting bracket.

For those looking for detailed specs, it has a brightness of 300 ANSI lumens, 1000:1 contrast ratio, native resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, Android 4.4, 2GB RAM, 8GB storage, manual focus, automatic keystone, WiFi n and Bluetooth 4.0.

Since it uses LED, there is no maintenance required and lamp life is rated at 30,000 hours. Inside it is a rechargeable battery and a pair of decent sounding speakers. If you prefer bigger sound, you can always pair a Bluetooth speaker or connect powered speakers using the 3.5mm audio out.

The battery is good for about 100 minutes of use, which means you can watch a typical, full-length movie without being tethered to any wires. This is really an all-in-one projector and therein lies the ap peal. It's available on Amazon India though you can also buy it online (Kixin K2) from Chi nese shopping websites for significantly cheaper rates (though without the warranty).
