Jennifer Aniston brings 'Friends' together, breaks the Internet with Instagram debut
The 50-year-old star was welcomed to the social network by her colleagues.
Aniston's picture, featuring former co-stars Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry and David Schwimmer, sent fans into an overdrive, and reportedly crashed the app for a while.
"And now we're Instagram 'FRIENDS' too. HI INSTAGRAM," Aniston captioned the picture.
The actress, whose bio reads "My friends call me Jen", has 6.1 million followers, and is following 109 accounts including ex-husband Justin Theroux.
Aniston received a warm welcome from her industry colleagues, as her post was flooded with messages from them.
Cox shared a throwback picture with Aniston, writing, "Hi Jen! Welcome to the social media world...it sucks. You're gonna love it!."
Schwimmer channelled 'Ross' as he welcomed 'Rachel' to the 'gram.
Actress Jennifer Garner also turned to a Lego-depiction of the 'Friends' set for her Instagram post.
Reese Witherspoon, who is collaborating with Aniston for an Apple TV+ project titled 'The Morning Show', welcomed her co-star, saying, "How's that for some morning news?! @jenniferaniston has joined the @instagram world and now I can finally tag her in FRIENDS memes! Welcome Jen!"
This year marks the 25th anniversary of 'Friends', that ran for ten seasons from 1994 to 2004.
