New options to pamper your tastebuds in Mumbai
Mumbai is the one-stop destination for a grand breakfast, mouth-watering lunch & lavish dinner. Here are three new eateries on the block that will take care of all your meals.
1. New Silver Beach Cafe
After a successful outlet in Juhu, Silver Beach Cafe has opened another branch near Sterling Cinema. The interiors channel a European cafe, but our favourite has to be the cozy booth seating and their extensive wine list, which includes wine cocktails such as Whammy Vino and Wine Basil Lemongrass. If you're heading there for dinner, try the New Zealand Lamb Chops and Mushroom Mascarpone Risotto.
6, Murzban Road, near Sterling Cinema, Fort; Tel: 7738871532/9820417128.
2. Latin American cuisine
Even though Mumbai is spoilt for choice when it comes to international cuisine, we're pretty kicked with the city's first Latin American restaurant called Asado.
The décor has been modeled to resemble the region and the food includes a lot of grills and barbeque. They get bonus points for serving over 20 different kinds of tequilas.
Monorama Chambers, ground floor, SV Road, Bandra West, next to Railway Colony, Tel: 022-6568 6666.
3. For the coffee addict
If you're chasing a caffeine kick, give Kaffa Cerrado a shot. These guys aim to source only the best single origin coffee beans from plantations across the world — including favourites from Ethiopia, El Salvador, Columbia and India. With aromas ranging from flowery notes of jasmine to fruity notes of wild berries – there's something to everyone's taste.
The coffee beans are exclusively available at www.kaffacerrado.com.
