#ThrowbackThursday: Sachin Tendulkar shares 'Sundar' pics with Google CEO from Sunday's Ind-Eng match

The duo met at the commentary box during the World Cup match between India and England in Birmingham.

NEW DELHI: Cricket and commentary done! Now, former cricketer Sachin Tendulkar is catching up on social media.

Four days after the World Cup match between India and England on Sunday in Birmingham, the Master Blaster shared two more pictures from Google CEO Sundar Pichai's special visit to the Edgbaston stadium. He attempted wordplay, and captioned it, "Kya yeh Sundar pic-hai?" (Is this a beautiful picture?).

While head of the search engine giant opted for a simple grey sweater with a darker shade of trousers, the 46-year-old all-rounder looked classy in a tailored, navy blue suit and a turquoise tie.

Earlier in the week, the Board of Control for Cricket in India had tweeted a picture of the pair enjoying the match.

The Chennai-born cricket lover took a break from his hectic schedule, and brought cheer to the commentary box with some Googly cupcakes. British cricket commentator Jonathan Agnew thanked Pichai on Twitter.

In an earlier interactions at US-India Business Council event, the 46-year-old CEO had expressed his love for the gentleman's game, and also revealed that he had grown up idolising Sunil Gavaskar, and later Tendulkar.
