Tata Sons top boss N Chandrasekaran is in charge of affairs at the business conglomerate. But away from the boardroom, the 54-year-old likes to run marathons.

We asked him what's on his mind while he hits the ground running, literally. Here's what he had to say:



"Whatever comes to my mind. Running has been a great thing for me. A lot of different thoughts come. It could be something that I may have been thinking about, but not so much.

What's on N Chandrasekaran's mind while he is running?

"I've observed that sometimes it [a thought] will suddenly come up. There is no one specific thing. It's not like you start the day running and say today I will solve this problem. You just enjoy the run and in the process whatever you get to think about, you think."
