ALL SONG AND DANCE: The performances at Rajasthan International Folk Festival, rooted in tradition, are sure to leave you spell bound

Rajasthan International Folk Festival is a five day event which showcases performances given by local and international artisans. The event seeks to bring together varied musical heritages each year through innovative associations of musicians and performing artists. Jodhpur plays a host to this musical sensation which also sees a series of spectacular events and musical concerts.

Hosted in the Mehrangarh Fort, cutting-edge dance performances and acts presented during the evenings on the main stage keeps the party going late into the night. Interactive scheduled against the background of this remarkable fortress keep you occupied during the day time. Along with the festival, you can also explore the 15th century old Mehrangarh Fort. The fort towers over the city of Jodhpur and is one of the best maintained forts in the country. It also houses a fascinating museum, full of historical artifacts including paintings, palanquins, clothing and ancient weaponry.

The Sacred Pushkar returns for its fourth edition to celebrate mindful living with Sacred music performances, healing therapies, yoga, guided meditation, interesting workshops, food trails, and curated heritage walks in timeless Pushkar. At The Sacred, Pushkar, the cityfs spiritual ambience will combine with divinity itself, through the ageless enchantment of music: poignant, vibrant and celestial.

The festival brings together some of the most powerful and diverse, national and international performers from various traditions of sacred music to Pushkar - a charming little town of Rajasthan steeped in mythology and set around the hallowed Pushkar Lake. With evocative music at the centre of this experiential getaway, the Festival will feature headline performances by award-winning vocalist and composer, Bombay Jayashri and Nooran Sisters, a Sufi singing duo from Sham Chaurasiagharana of Classical music.

At Jaipur Ghat, mornings will come alive with Morning Yoga and Meditation Sessions; Music Therapy by Sowmya Sanak Athreya and Sanak Kumar Athreya, who are the founders of Svarakshema Foundation; Chanting and Sacred Music performance by singer and composer, Bindhu Malini & Vedanth and renowned Sarod player Debasmita Bhattacharya. There will be a specially curated Sacred Garden, where one can indulge in the Organic Food Bazaar and Organic Merchandise and Clothing.

JAPAN GRAND PRIX: The last season of the Formula One Grand Prix at the Suzuka Circuit

The Formula One Japanese Grand Prix is famed for the Prost and Senna rivalry reaching a climax here in 1989 and 1990, Hill taking the title in 1996, and Schumacher's first of many championships for Ferrari in 2000.

Adrenaline runs high as huge crowds throng to the stadiums to watch top-performing vehicles race through 150 miles of looped driving, and the excellent motorists who control them at speeds of up to 150 miles per hour along the famed course in Suzuka. Since its birth as Japan's first full-fledged racing course in 1962, Suzuka Circuit has been the center of Japanese motorsports.

Apart from the event, you visit the various attractions and enjoy the historic city of Nagoya. Additionally you can also visit the amusement park Motopia, there is a diverse range of driving entertainment for young children.

Catch the party buzz at one of five stages that form a part of 'Into the Woods' festival

If you are planning an autumn visit to Amsterdam, enjoy a twoday music getaway Into the woods. About 61 DJ's and live bands will join together at the NDSM wharf in the Netherland capital.

The festival has five roofed stages, which include the ITW warehouse, tents and other extravagant structures. Eac h night will have a different musical style. Dub and reggae sound system King Shiloh will do the kick-off on Thursday, Friday will be all about groovy house and Techno will be the theme for Saturday.
