Hexaware net profit up 6.7% in Q3

The company reported new wins worth $28 million during the quarter.

Hexaware acquired US-headquartered digital technology firm Mobiquity for $182 million in June.
Hexaware Technologies’ net profit rose 6.7% to Rs 1,837 crore in the third quarter, while revenue was up 22.5% at Rs 14,813 crore.

In dollar terms, profit was up 7.4% at $76.1 million and revenue climbed 23.1% to $210 million, 24.4% higher on a constant currency basis.

“We have delivered substantial growth in revenue, profits and EPS, driven by both our organic business and the Mobiquity acquisition. In this process, we crossed an important landmark of quarterly $200 M revenues,” said R Srikrishna, CEO, Hexaware Technologies.

Hexaware has partnered with Ephesoft, an enterprise content capture and data discovery solutions provider, which will help deliver business process transformation to organizations.

“The synergetic alignment of Mobiquity’s capabilities with Hexaware’s unique strategy has led to a smooth and successful integration. This sets us up nicely for our future growth,” said Atul Nishar, Chairman, Hexaware Technologies.

Headcount stood at 19,062 at the end of the third quarter, while attrition was at 17.3%. The company also declared its third interim dividend of Rs 2 per equity share.
