Advent International, Temasek arms sell 8.2% in CG Consumer

Multiple financial institutions bought 5.12 crore shares collectively, the BSE data showed.

Shares of Crompton Greaves Consumer ended down 2.19 per cent at Rs 246.20 on Tuesday.
Mumbai: Advent International Corp’s Amalfiaco and Temasek’s MacRitchie Investments Pte sold 5.12 crore shares of Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals on Tuesday through block deals.

Amalfiaco and MacRitchie Investments sold the stake at an average price of Rs 249.2 per share, the BSE block deal data showed. The number of shares sold amount to 8.2 per cent stake in the company. The global investors together hold about 34.36 per cent stake in the company at the end of September quarter.

Multiple financial institutions bought 5.12 crore shares collectively, the BSE data showed.

SBI Mutual Fund, Amundi Funds SBI FM Equity India, Societe Generale, Fidelity funds, Norges Bank, HDFC Standard Life Insurance, Citigroup Global Markets Mauritius, Aurigin Master Fund and Morgan Stanley Asia Singapore Pte bought Crompton shares at Rs 249.2 per share.

Shares of Crompton Greaves Consumer ended down 2.19 per cent at Rs 246.20 on Tuesday.
