While BPCL, TCS, Wipro, YES Bank, HDFC, Indiabull Housing Finance, Tata Motors, Zee Entertainment., Adani Ports SEZ, HCL Tech, Tech Mahindra, Power Grid, HDFC Bank, NTPC, Axis Bank, Kotak Bank, Tata Motors, IndusInd Bank, Tata Steel, Dr Reddys Labs, Bosch, Bajaj Auto, Tata Power, Coal India Ltd, Bharti Infratel were trading in red.
The BSE Sensex was trading 142.20 points up at 31,332.76.
Traders were seen piling up position in telecommunications, electronics, food processing, retail, infrastructure, petroleum, fertilisers, finance, leather, paints and pigments, pharmaceuticals and health care, power, hospitality, service, cables, auto ancillaries, information technology, construction, electric equipment, cement sectors.
Whereas selling was visible in aquaculture, packaging, rubber, transport, engineering, textiles, mining, auto, banks, plastics, edible fat, equipments, chemicals, iron and steel, tyres, sugar, consumer durables, miscellaneous, paper, beverages - non-alcoholic, metals - non ferrous, automobiles sectors.
