The domestic equity market turned choppy on Tuesday with 25 Nifty50 constituents trading in the green on NSE.

Shares of PSP Projects, KIOCL, Krebs Biochem, Keynote Corp, HB Stockholding, Birla Corp., ICICI Bank, Hindalco Inds., Bliss GVS Pharma, Maruti Suzuki, HDFC, Motherson Sumi, Renaissance Jew, Larsen & Toubro, Savita Oil Tech, Kesar Enterpr, Maan Aluminium hit their fresh 52-week high during the trade on NSE.

However, stocks such as Rasoya Proteins, Nitin Fire Prot, Zicom Elec, Tara Jewels, Jindal Drilling, Hanung Toys, BS Ltd, The Mandhana Retail Ventures , Vishnu Chem, Pochiraju Ind, DFM Foods, DS Kulkarni Dev, Videocon Ind, Mandhana Inds., Shilpi Cable Tec, Urja Global, Usher Agro, Karuturi Global, Chromatic India, Aban Offshore touched their fresh 52-week low.

In the Nifty 50 index, Aurobindo Pharma, Dr Reddys Labs, NTPC, Adani Ports SEZ, Lupin, ICICI Bank, Hindalco Inds., Tech Mahindra, Indian Oil Corp, Cipla, GAIL, Infosys, Bank of Baroda, Tata Motors, Sun Pharma, Asian Paints, SBI, Tata Motors, Axis Bank, Bharti Airtel, Hero MotoCorp, UltraTech Cem., Tata Power, Tata Steel, ONGC were among top gainers.,

While PowerGrid, BPCL, Bharti Infratel, Zee Entertainment, Coal India Ltd, Hind. Unilever, Kotak Bank, TCS, Larsen & Toubro, ITC, ACC, IndusInd Bank, Eicher Motors, HDFC Bank, RIL, Ibull HousingFin, M&M, Bosch, HDFC, Bajaj Auto, Maruti Suzuki, Ambuja Cements, HCL Tech, Wipro, YES Bank were trading in red.

Traders were seen piling up position in Leather, Beverages - Non-Alcoholic, Petroleum, Beverages - Alcoholic, Petrochemicals, Shipping, Paints and Pigments, Power, Pharmaceuticals and health care, Gems and Jewellery, Information Technology, Personal Care, Retail, Food Processing, Electronics, Telecommunications, Electric Equipment, Hospitality, Finance, Tobacco, Cement, Cables, Service, Auto Ancillaries and Infrastructure sectors.

Meanwhile, selling was visible in Aquaculture, Glass, Packaging, Transport, Equipments, Rubber, Agriculture/Horticulture/Lives, Engineering, Mining, Textiles, Auto, Plastics, Edible Fat, Banks, Fertilisers, Food Processing, Chemicals, Consumer Durables, Tea, Coffee, Sugar, Miscellaneous, Iron and Steel, Paper, Tyres, Construction sectors.
