Market Now: Max Ventures, Future Lifestyle among stocks that surged over 5%

Domestic equity indices, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, were trading in green on Thursday on account of buying in frontline bluechip counters.

Phoenix Lamps (up 9.65 per cent), Max Ventures and Industries (up 8.37 per cent), Sharda Motor (up 8.24 per cent), Omkar Speciality (up 8.17 per cent), Future Lifestyle (up 7.01 per cent), Hitachi Home (up 6.93 per cent), Sunil Hitech (up 6.87 per cent), Transport Corp (up 6.85 per cent), Hinduja Global (up 6.66 per cent), Renaissance Jew (up 5.93 per cent), GeeCee Ventures (up 5.73 per cent), 3i Infotech (up 5.49 per cent), Genesys Intnl (up 5.46 per cent), Divis Lab (up 5.20 per cent), Future Market (up 5.11 per cent) surged over 5 per cent.

The 30-share index was 53.45 points up at 31199.25, while the 50-share index was trading 8.4 points up at 9629.65.

In the Nifty50 index, 31 stocks ended the day in green, while 20 stocks settled the day in red.

Stocks such as Phoenix Lamps, Sharda Motor, Future Lifestyle, Hitachi Home, KIOCL Ltd., Adani Transmission Ltd., Voltas, India Glycols, TCI Express Ltd., KEC Int. Ltd, Mahindra Holiday, Vakrangee Soft. Ltd., Kaveri Seed Co, Antarctica Ltd, Time Techno., Lakshmi Machine, Siyaram Silk, Bodal Chemicals, Avanti Feeds, Hind. Unilever hit their fresh 52-week high in today's trade.

On the other hand, Northgate Com, Value Inds, Shilpi Cable Tec, Videocon Ind, DS Kulkarni Dev, Global Offshore, Usher Agro, Mandhana Inds., Khaitan Elect, SRS Ltd, Allied Digital, BS Ltd, Kesar Terminals, ANG Industries, DIC India Ltd, Tera Software, DFM Foods, Persistent Sys, Blue Blends, Prakash Steel touched their new 52-week low in trade.
