Sensex gains 100 points on firm global cues, Nifty nears 11,650; Airtel falls over 3%

Domestic equity market opened with gains on Tuesday, tracking firm cues from global peers, amid positive developemt on the US-China trade front. US President Donald Trump said on Monday he expected to sign a significant part of the trade deal with China “ahead of schedule” but did not elaborate on the timing. At around 9.40 am, BSE flagship Sensex was up 100 points to 39,350 while its NSE counterpart Nifty was trading with gains of 18 points at 11,645.
