Share market update: 58 stocks hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Around 58 stocks rose to touch their 52-week highs on NSE in Monday's session.

Among the stocks that touched their 52-week highs were Abbott India, Akzo Nobel India, Asian Paints, Bajaj Finance, Bata India, Berger Paints, Britannia Industries, Colgate Palmolive, Crompton Greaves, HDFC Bank, HDFC Asset Management Company, Hindustan Unilever, Indraprastha Gas, Jubilant Foodworks, Dr. Lal Path Labs, Shriram EPC and Voltas.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index was trading 228.45 points up at 11,502.65 while the BSE Sensex was trading 750.67 points up at 38,765.29.

Overall, 33 shares were trading in the green, while 17 were trading in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Larsen & Toubro, ITC, Britannia Industries, HUL and Adani Ports SEZ were among the top gainers.

While Dr. Reddy's Lab, Infosys, YES Bank, Tata Motors and M&M were trading in the red.
