Share market update: NBFC stocks mixed; AIIL gains 5%

NEW DELHI: Shares of non-banking financial companies (NBFC) were trading on a mixed note in Monday's afternoon session.

AIIL (up 4.98 per cent) , Garnet International (up 4.53 per cent) , Coral India Finance & Housing (up 3.42 per cent) , Muthoot Finance (up 2.45 per cent), Paisalo Digital (up 2.05 per cent), Aavas (up 1.99 per cent) , Religare Enterprises (up 1.99 per cent) , LIC Housing Finance (up 1.76 per cent) , Motilal Oswal Financial Services (up 1.65 per cent) and Repco Home Finance (up 1.11 per cent) were trading higher.

Sakthi Finance (down 6.19 per cent) , Magma Fincorp (down 5.33 per cent) , Reliance Capital (down 4.99 per cent) , Dewan Housing Finance Corporation (down 4.96 per cent) , Reliance Home (down 4.85 per cent) , Alps Motor Finance (down 4.35 per cent) , India Home Loan (down 3.62 per cent) , Indiabulls Ventures (down 2.88 per cent) , Satin (down 2.66 per cent) , Sundaram Finance (down 2.20 per cent) , IIFL Finance Ltd (down 1.94 per cent) , SREI Infrastructure Finance (down 1.66 per cent) , PNB Housing Finance (down 1.37 per cent) and Hudco (down 1.04 per cent) were trading in the red.

The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 2.40 points up at 11,897.85 while the 30share BSE Sensex was down 27.63 points at 40,329.06 at around 02:18 pm.

Bharti Airtel (up 4.44 per cent) , Tata Steel (up 3.90 per cent) , UPL (up 3.55 per cent) , Bharat Petroleum Corporation (up 3.38 per cent) and Hindalco Industries (up 3.22 per cent) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.

On the other hand, YES Bank (down 3.13 per cent) , Britannia Industries (down 1.87 per cent) , Bajaj Auto (down 1.65 per cent) and Mahindra & Mahindra (down 1.38 per cent) were trading in the red.
