Share market update: Over 20 stocks hit 52-week lows on NSE

Domestic equity market was in the negative territory amid weak global cues.

Share market update: Over 20 stocks hit 52-week lows on NSE
Sun Pharmaceutical Industries, Coal India, State Bank of India, ICICI Bank and Grasim Industries were leading among the Nifty losers.
NEW DELHI: Over 20 stocks, including Byke Hospitality, Dixon Technologies (India), Skipper and Videocon Industries hit 52-week lows on NSE in Friday's trading session.

Cura Technologies, DPSC, Indian Terrain Fashions, Jet Airways (India), Matrimony.Com, Premier Explosives and S H Kelkar and Company too featured among the stocks that hit 52-week lows today.

However, Bata India, Berger Paints, Bharat Rasayan, Graphite India, Indiabulls Ventures, Jubilant Foodworks, Mahindra & Mahindra and Sanofi India hit 52-week highs on NSE.

Domestic equity market was in the negative territory amid weak global cues.

Lingering trade war worries hit Asian markets, following a new round of US sanctions on Russia.

The NSE Nifty index was trading 39 points down at 11,431, while the BSE Sensex was down 140 points at 37,884 around 11:15 am.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 15 were trading in the green, while 35 were in the red.

Eicher Motors, YES Bank, Bharti Airtel, Asian Paints and Mahindra & Mahindra were among the top gainers in the Nifty index.

Sun Pharmaceutical Industries, Coal India, State Bank of India, ICICI Bank and Grasim Industries were leading among the Nifty losers.
