NEW DELHI: Nifty futures on the Singapore Exchange traded 29.50 points, or 0.24 per cent, lower at 12,43.50, indicating a negative start for Dalal Street. Here are a few stocks which may buzz the most in today’s trade:

Vodafone Idea: The company has said its board has authorised the company to immediately pay Rs 2,500 crore, a portion of its statutory dues, to the telecom department. The company also said that it will pay another Rs 1,000 crore before the end of the week.

Network18 Media & Investments: Reliance Industries on Monday announced consolidation of its all media and distribution businesses under one umbrella brand 'Network18'. Under the scheme of arrangement, TV18 Broadcast, Hathway Cable & Datacom and Den Networks will merge into Network18 Media & Investments, which will be an integrated media and distribution company with a revenue of Rs 8,000 crore.

Godrej Properties: The realtor has entered into a pact to acquire a 26.58-acre land parcel in Delhi’s Ashok Vihar locality for Rs 1,359 crore. The Mumbai-based real estate arm of the Godrej Group will acquire the plot from the Railway Land Development Authority.

DMart: One of the country’s largest supermarket chains is set to enter Delhi, a move that will help billionaire founder Radhakishan Damani widen the brand’s footprint outside of the western and southern Indian markets.

DHFL: Adani Group, KKR, Bain Capital, Kotak Mahindra Bank and Piramal Enterprises are among the more than two dozen entities that have put in bids for crippled DHFL, the first financial services player undergoing insolvency process, according to two sources.

Bharti Airtel: The company has raised Rs 2,500 crore by selling bonds in the local market, even as the telco paid a part of its telecom licence fee dues.

Tata Teleservices: The company along with Tata Teleservices (Maharashtra) made a payment of Rs 2,197 crores to the DoT towards Adjusted Gross Revenue (AGR) dues, as had been ordered by the Supreme Court.

HAL: France’s Dassault and Hindustan Aeronautics are in talks for possible cooperation in producing the Rafale fighter jets in India for additional anticipated orders under a ‘staggered procurement'.

Future Lifestyle Fashions: The Kishore Biyani-led said its board will meet on February 20 to consider a proposal to raise funds through issues of equity shares, bonds and other securities.

JSW Steel: The company said it has emerged as preferred bidder for three iron ore mines in Odisha with an estimated reserves of 1,092 million tonnes.

Simplex Infrastructure: The company which has built some of the landmark bridges and urban mass rapid transport system in key metros, has begun to default on bank loans as delay on payments by government agencies has led to a liquidity squeeze.

RCom: The Committee of Creditors of Reliance Communications on February 24 will put to a vote asset bids received from UV Asset Reconstruction Company and Reliance Jio from which lenders are expected to recover around Rs 23,000 crore, according to sources privy to the development.

JSW Steel: The NCLAT has allowed JSW Steel to acquire Bhushan Power and Steel for Rs 19,700 crore under the insolvency law, providing immunity to the new owners from ongoing criminal proceedings against the erstwhile promoters of the company

Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail: The country’s largest clothing firm plans to open more than 500 outlets this year, nearly three times its average annual expansion, at a time when the overall economic slowdown has made most retailers go slow

JSW Energy: The company has signed an agreement to buy GMR Energy’s1,050 MW-Kamalanga power project located in Odisha for Rs 5,321 crore, the Sajjan Jindal-led company said on Monday.
