Can you please give me a detailed response to how to invest/start SIP in direct mutual funds? How can I check whether my PAN is KYC compliant or not? I was investing through SIP via a broker. But, now I want to invest in direct funds.

Firstly, we strongly believe that investors should invest directly only if they have sound knowledge about mutual funds and investing. Otherwise, they are better off investing in regular plans with the help of mutual fund advisors. New investors need a lot of guidance and handholding in the initial years of their investment journey. Only a mutual fund advisor near them can offer them the much-needed reassurances during times of crisis.

You can check online whether you are KYC compliant. You may visit the websites of the following entities: CDSL Ventures Ltd. CVL, NSE (DotEx International), NSDL Database Management Ltd, CAMS, Karvy.
