Madhav called for early assembly elections in the state.
SRINAGAR: The BJP’s general secretary Ram Madhav lashed out at the regional political parties PDP and NC in J&K calling them opportunists who can do anything to sustain their dynasties in power.

Madhav called for early assembly elections in the state claiming that the party in the upcoming upcoming parliamentary elections BJP would win the two seats of Jammu and one seat of Ladakh divisions and they would strive for the best performance in Valley, where BJP is no longer an outsider.

Madhav informed that the ban on Jama’at e Islami and JKLF has brought peace to Valley and the government in New Delhi would continue to take such steps.

The BJP leader who also stitched the failed PDP-BJP alliance also demanded an FIR against NC’s Lok Sabha candidate from North Kashmir’s Baramullah constituency Muhammad Akbar Lone for raising ‘Pakistan Zindabad’ slogans. He said such sloganeering during election time exposes the character of regional political parties.

“The PDP and NC were on a boycott and now for their personal interests both Mehbooba Mufti and Farooq Abdullah are fighting parliamentary elections. For them article 370 and 35 A is not an issue now,” Madhav told reporters in Srinagar in presence of party’s candidate for central Kashmir Lok Sabha constituency Khalid Jehnagir.

“The PDP and NC were on a boycott and now for their personal interests and securing political future both Mehbooba Mufti and Farooq Abdullah are fighting parliamentary elections. For them article 370 and 35 A is not an issue now,” said Madhav. He claimed that the regional parties were disconnected from the grassroots and now they should use their vote judiciously.
