A week in the life of PM Narendra Modi

Narendra Modi is leaving for Singapore around 10 PM tonight and will land there at 6 AM local time on Wednesday to deliver a keynote address at the Singapore Fintech Festival.

The PM decided to go straight from Varanasi to Bengaluru last evening to pay his last respects to his cabinet collegue Ananth Kumar who passed away in the early hours of Monday.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address six public rallies in election-bound Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh on Friday and Sunday, wrapping up what will be a hectic week for him on duty for the government and his party.

Modi is leaving for Singapore around 10 PM tonight and will land there at 6 AM local time on Wednesday to deliver a keynote address at the Singapore Fintech Festival. Over the next two days, Modi will meet several global leaders at the India ASEAN Summit and the East Asia Summit as well as on the sidelines of these summits, including Mike Pence, the US Vice President.

Back on Thursday night, PM will travel on Friday for addressing election rallies. On Saturday, Modi will travel to the Maldives to attend the swearing in ceremony of the new Government there, returning to Delhi past midnight. Sunday will again see him addressing rallies in election bound states. Modi is slated to address six rallies between Friday and Sunday.

Before leaving for Singapore tonight, Modi on Tuesday chaired a Cabinet Meeting which passed a condolence resolution on the demise of senior BJP Minister Ananth Kumar. From there the Prime Minister went into a series of meetings, including with the Ambassador-designate to Thailand; the CEO of Twitter; and with other senior Government officials. He also chaired a two-hour long meeting on important issues with his Science, Technology and Innovation Advisory Council.

Yesterday, Modi was first in Bilaspur in Chhattisgarh for an election rally from where he went to Varanasi to receive the first container cargo travelling upstream on the Ganga from Kolkata. He also inaugurated the newly widened road between Babatpur Airport and Varanasi.
