NEW DELHI: West Bengal BJP unit is planning to hold a demonstration against the Mamata Banerjee government on June 12 in Kolkata.

According to BJP leaders, the state government is trying to intimidate BJP workers. “The protest would be against the misuse of government resources to intimidate the BJP workers in the state,” said Kailash Vijayvargiya, BJP general secretary.
“The BJP MPs are not being allowed to hold Vijay Julus or Abhar Yatra in their constituencies while Trinamool MPs can freely do so.”

Vijayvargiya urged chief minister Mamata Banerjee to treat everyone equally.

“Being a chief minister you are required to treat equally to the people of the state no matter which party or ideology they belong to. But this is not happening in the state,” he said.
