Delhi govt school students won't pay CBSE exam fees: Manish Sisodia

Delhi government has decided to bear entire fees of CBSE exams of Class 10th and 12th for all categories of students in government schools. The decision came after Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) announced the hiked examination fees. After attending the launch program of ‘Constitution @70 campaign’, Delhi Education Minister Manish Sisodia said, the students of government school are not able to pay the hiked fees of CBSE exam. Delhi government has decided to bear entire fees of CBSE exams for all categories of students of class 10th and 12th.” After the announcement of hiked fee, On August 13 CBSE has decided to restore the practice of charging Rs 50 as exam fees of Rupees 50 from Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes students in Delhi government schools.
