Respect for Constitution and voter''s verdict is a lipservice provided by the politicians and those aspiring to be in office. In India, a class of its citizens are in public life either because they dare to be lawbreakers or become part of a Mafia group to ascent to the political office. It is the law and RPA which should be faulted and the human.Coming to the subject of BJP Sena alliance, it is a prepoll alliance which had gone to the voters with Devendra Phadnavis as the CM, while all along the sena tagged with it as a junior partner, the moment the verdict was out, it turned out to be an outfit with its demand for a pound of flesh, disregard of voter''s choice. In politics it is acceptable but it is the governance which will get hit. Ideally, the Governor should give the BJP the first opportunity and if it fails to prove its majority on the floor of the house, it should impose President''s rule and order for reelection unless the Sena gives it in writing that it wants to withdraw from the alliance and form a post-poll alliance.

Respect what was agreed in prepoll alliance.

SS workers who are predominantly Hindus will switch their loyalty to BJP if SS goes with ncp and congress.SS will become another tdp

Jagdip Vaishnav (Mumbai)

People of Maharashtra have not given clear mandate to any party. BJP has fared poor, though single largest party

Check the results bjps performance is better than 2014 assembly elections, in 2014 they fought on 270 seats n won 123 , this time they fought on only 150 seats n won 105 with a winning rate of 70% in comparison to 45% in 2014.mandate is clearly in favour of Mr fadnavis

ED, CBI, IT raid on SS will start ???

Nemani

I fully agree with the views of Mahajanji

Gabby Jd (INDIA)

They complain -Economy down...hhh...hhh..But they want all free security services and free facilities and allowances from the Tax payer''s money. Economy down. Freebies by Kejuu to Delhi public.

Gautam

Shiv Sena has done a self goal. this party is conceding her entire base to BJP. BJP would be foolish to agree to any of SS demand. this is the best time for the nation to get rid of a rogue party from Maharashtra and India. Uddhav ji is not Balasaheb. Balasaheb ji stood tall with or without power. this fellow is not even shadow of the ð tiger.

If Siva sena wants to form government who is obstructing it. Get majority or collide with traitors and become opportunist for getting power to become chief minister etc. A party which gets majority can form the government. So if Siva sena has majority let form. From the beginning for the past six years public is seeing the behaviour of Siva sena leaders who are daily attacking the central government, including Modi. I fb Siva sena can''t form the government in maharashtra how can it form government in the centre. It is a fools paradise ot form government with just 1/6th of the assembly seats. BJP shouldn''t take Siva sena into confidence any more. Let the other parties face the music of the public. Siva sena, especially, the editor of saamna is the main rought for the present scenario. He should be brought to the public anger.

None of these stupid journalists nor channels ever advocate for changes to our Consititution i.e the People''s Representation Act which gives powers only to the elected reps to play their games of blackmail while electing the CM or forming the ruling bloc. Its high time laws are changed so that there will be absolutely no chance for any kind of horse trading or blackmail. Better still, give the power of choosing the CM to the people, from the list of victorious MLAs, after the elections are over. Only fools think that our Constitution is great, infact it is full of such loopholes which enable corruption and delays. Ditto for our ancient IPC laws.

San

why should people bear the brunt of pre poll alliances between these two parties. people should take note and never vote for both these parties

Vinod

Respect for people!? !?

Vijayankg

patience have limits. SS made BJP to exhaust the limit. it will be good for BJP and maharashta

Satish

Sena seems.to be greedy

Vijayankg

if there is agreement SS should comeout with proof. BJP made the grave mistake by aligning with SS.

Sena turning greedy also disrespecting the mandate of voters as Sena leaders were seen hobnobbing with Congress and NCP on a daily basis and criticizing BJP daily via mouthpiece newspaper Samna.

Hari

Indeed it is sad that the pre poll alliance of parties are now greedily fighting for the post of CM., as if they are in opposition to one another. If such is the case then the voters should not take any alliance''s on face value and vote for. If an voter has to vote uncorrupt ( not yeilding to inducement s), it equally important that any understanding s of political parties as a pre poll arrangements should remain full proof.

Tutu

Own ambition of money making and enjoying the power is sole objective AND not people''s mandate. Talking about promise to late father BUT should know the capability of own son too.
