The enclosure of the penguins will resemble their natural habitat. It will have land and a water body attached to it. The enclosure will resemble island and rocky coasts where the penguins usually build holes using caves and can be seen in the gallery’s ground floor. The temperature for these aquatic flightless birds is likely to be between12-15 degree Celsius and they will be fed a diet of frozen fish.

Incidentally Humboldt penguins can also be found in Mumbai’s Byculla zoo.
