BJP and Congress are the two big opponents in Assembly elections of Maharashtra and Haryana. While BJP has Shiv Sena and few other regional parties as their partners in the Maharashtra's 288 seat Assembly polls, congress has NCP with it. In Haryana it's a direct battle between the two national parties for the 80 odd seats. BJP is going all guns firing, whereas Congress is lost in its internal squabbles.
