The party did away with practice of passing an economic resolution and instead passed a resolution on the work done for farmer welfare. A statement was made by party chief Amit Shah on the National Register of Citizens. The party also emphasised that the Citizenship Bill pending in Parliament should be passed soon.
HRD minister Prakash Javadekar said the petro prices today were the same as in 2013 (when UPA was in power) and the government is following the right policy.
